THE INJECTION OF HYALURONIC ACID, IN WHICH INDICATIONS?

The intervention is carried out at the office. Depending on the indications, it can be performed without anaesthesia, with contact anaesthesia (EMLA cream, cold) or under local anaesthesia.

Injections of fillers such as hyaluronic acid are used to treat :

  • nasolabial folds,
  • bitterness folds,
  • the perioral wrinkles,
  • dark circles
  • the hollowed cheeks, the hollowed out temples,
  • the early release of the jowls,
  • frown lines or glabellar lines,
  • crow's feet or eye wrinkles,
  • forehead wrinkles.

In order to specifically treat each area of the face, it is possible, or even necessary, to use one or more types of hyaluronic acid gel. The amount of hyaluronic acid used varies according to the area and the patient.

The effect of the hyaluronic acid is immediately visible. At the end of the session, your wrinkles have already disappeared, but the final result is optimal 10 to 15 days after the operation.

One of the advantages of hyaluronic acid-based fillers is that they have long-lasting but not permanent effects. The duration of the results depends on many factors, such as age, the treated area, the amount of hyaluronic acid injected, skin type, lifestyle (sun exposure, tobacco, alcohol...).
